1st Qualifier scheduled between top two giants Chennai Super Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad in Wankhede Stadium. Sunrisers lost last three matches consecutively. Chennai Super Kings won both of the group matches against Sunrisers Hyderabad. It’s a first time for Sunrisers they reached in the finals but for Chennai Super Kings it is not new and they know how to qualify for the finals.

Kane Williamson and Shikhar Dhawan have a responsibility to score high in today’s match. Both are the big guns of the team. Williamson second highest run scoring player in this IPL with 661 runs in the 14 matches. His average scoring is 60 and a good strike rate. Dhawan is also a good opening batsman and he smashed 437 runs in 13 innings. In the last match against Chennai Super Kings, he smashed 79 runs in 49 balls. Siddharth Kaul, Rashid Khan and Shakib-al-Hasan are the threat for the Chennai Super Kings. Siddharth Kaul took 17n wickets, Rashid is just behind with 16 wickets and Shakib blast 13 wickets.

Chennai Super Kings have Shane Watson and Ambati Rayudu both the players are explosive batsmen and Watson also give benefit to the team from his bowling line. From the number of runs perspective Rayudu is a leading batsmen in the team. He smashed 586 runs in the 14 innings. Another side MS Dhoni maintaining an average of 89 runs in last 14 innings. Deepak Chahar, Lungi Ngidi and Shardul Thakur are the key bowlers of the team.
